7th Day of 2008

Since the wedding is a big part of my life and I am uber excited about it not to mention overwhelmed with the wedding preparations I have to make, I decided to leave my blog since 2005 for a while and concentrate on just this one. And as if I'll have time to talk about something else, eh?

I've been engaged since 2005 but it is only now that I have really given thoughts on seriously planning the wedding. My fiance has been asking me to set the date for sometime now but I don't want to rush into things since 1. We have been living together since the day we got back together so I don't see a reason for it. After all, we are practically living a married life! The only lacking thing is the document to prove it; 2. I still don't know where the hell we are gonna get that amount of cash asap (combined income monthly is only P50K); and 3. We have started 2 businesses to solve reason number 2 and the amount of businesses pouring in is well, too much to handle that we have to devote 100% of our energy in making these ventures a success. But since number 2 has been resolved, well, I can't wait to get wed!

At first I just wanted a "simple" wedding. By simple it would mean, 100 guest (close family and friends only), at this cozy man made lake resort/subdivision. But now that the actual planning is being done, well...I want the best of everything! After all, it only happen once. I want a wedding with a theme, I want 2 wedding dresses, I want fireworks, I want butterflies to be set on my entrance and many, many more! But so far I'm overwhelmed by the amount of things to do. I have a for a day events coordinator but I want to handle the wedding preparations myself (attributed to my control freak nature and we do have an events management company). And! We still haven't set an exact date.

7th date of the month and a gazillion things to do not just for the wedding but for the companies as well. I need help! I should come up with a list by tomorrow.
